Summary: The haunting starts even before Sophie arrives on
the Isle of Skye to spend the summer with her cousins, but when she arrives she
finds a house haunted by the ghost of a girl who attended school there a
hundred years ago, as well as cousin Rebecca who died young and is never
mentioned by her family--and she must somehow solve the mystery of the frozen
Charlotte dolls before the whole family is destroyed.
Review: Beware -
this book is not for the faint of heart. A story that starts with a Ouija app,
involves an evil family member, ghosts, and possessed frozen Charlotte dolls
(they are a real doll I looked it up). I tend to read paranormal fiction and
this book gave me the willies and I loved every minute of it! I would recommend
this book for kids 12 and up, but, be prepared for them to sleep with the light
on for a couple days after reading this book!
