Summary: It's a beautiful day and the pig family is excited to picnic with friends. The day doesn't go as planned, but with the help of friends, they still manage to have a good picnic!
Review: This is such a sweet delightful story. The big bad wolf contributes to getting the kite in the air and even after it rains, the pigs know how to have a good time. Which just goes to show you where you are is not as important as who you are with. Matt Phelan's illustrations are whimsical and sure to delight even the youngest reader/listener. His text is simple, just a few words on the page and ideal for a small group storytime or one on one.
