Review: A fun, short story, Maria Had a Little Llama is a great book to read
with your child whether your family speaks mostly English, mostly Spanish or
both! Studies have shown that young children are able to quickly pick up
languages, and simple bilingual books like this one are a great way to introduce
your child to a new language. Our library has a great selection of bilingual
books! You can find them in the Spanish “Libros Illustrados” section. Just look
for the yellow sticker on the spine of the book that says “Libros Bilingues” !
